wien & budapest.

took us 20 hours of mad rush to get to wien, austria: rushing to the gate for boarding; shitty food; rushing from terminal to terminal in cdg, paris; crazy traffic in prague; mad rush to get onto the train and maneuvering our way through second class carriages to the first class only to find that there were no seats.

beautiful city, but way too much drama for me to handle, i think.

budapest is a vastly different city than wien. rustic, more character i would say. we made our way down to esztergom, where people understood more german than english, to visit the mother of hungary churches, the esztergom basilica. found our first music store, and shah went completely berserk getting 69,000 florints worth of scores. i suspect that number will increase once he adds in the kodaly song books.

my relationship with the toilet bowl improved dramatically over the last week hurhur. yes you read that right. the toilet bowl. i was lao-sai-ing my way through wien and budapest, and it seems that it will continue till bratislava, my next destination. hurhur.

time to sleep, it's 1.30am here, and i'm scheduled to visit the holy middle finger of st stephen's tomorrow before setting off for bratislava. good night world and till my next update :)
