i've had such an awesome weekend. from the "world goes 'round" cast party thursday night until now, i've had such a fun time and i'm so glad generally. there's nothing like being in a olace for six or seven months and then finding just what you needed. it's so grand. i know nobody reads this, but i love you guys.
so apparently i have ringworm... who knew? i've had this scabby looking thing on my arm for a while, and i thought i had just scraped it or something, because it looked like it was going away, but then somebody last night said it looked like ringworm and so russell has this cream stuff that he put on it and it's getting better i think.. i'm a little worried because i would just go to the nurse tomorrow, but we leave for tour at 7 in the morning... a little inconvenient for those of us with ringworm who want to get it checked out.. busted. oh well. here's what we'red going/where we're going on the tour:
monday: we drive from 7-3, then end up in newport news, VA and rehearse and then have our concert
tuesday: we're going to the "crabtree valley mall".. apparently some fabulous superhuman place... probably just a mall, but still fun. then we end up in raleigh for our concert that night.
wednesday: we're going to east carolina university and doing a performance for their choir and then their choir is going to sing for us, then we're going to wilmington, north carolina for our next concert...
thursday: we're going to wrightsville beach in north carolina. what i do NOT understand is that they're only giving half an hour there. so what's the point? AND it's at 8:00 in the morning. craziness. after that we're going to blacksburg, VA for our concert.
friday: we drive all day and end up in reading, PA, sing there, and come back to westminster. we get back at midnight on friday...
seems a little uninteresting, don't it? well, it is. i'm only looking forward to it a little.. but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. we're staying with people of each congregation who volunteer to host us... "homestays," they call them (i think that sounds a little like "shady pines" from the golden girls), and i'm hoping jesse and i don't end up with anyone who hates gay people.. going to the south and all. oh well. we'll see.
so, what else? we were up til 4:30 last night and it's now 11:03-- why am i awake? crazy... maybe i'll go back to sleep later. bye bye bye!!!
