OMG I had such an amazing trip! There's no way I can sit down and type out everything I did on my trip right now, since it would take me at least a full day of typing probably. So I'm just going to say that I'm back and had a blast while I was in Eastern Europe. I've actually posted my photos from each location on facebook already, so if you're on there, check 'em out. And if not, I'll include individual links to the albums at the end of the post.
I feel like my entire tour revolved around World War II, and I just went through a 2 week long history lesson. It was amazing, and I was immersed in the history the whole trip. Starting off in Berlin, I got to see the origin of WWII and its epicenter. I never realized how much of the east the war affected, but when you see photos of entire cities demolished due to the war and then only recently reconstructed, it shows you the profound impact that the east suffered. They've come such a long ways in the last couple decades, and the cities are thriving and flourishing, although there will always be a significant impact from the war remaining forever.
The food, architecture, and history were amazing in each of the cities I visited. So much to see and do in all of them. Here's the photo links now for a montage of my trip...
