I saw Stardust on Tuesday with Stepheny, Vanessa, and Chris (gotta love free popcorn Tuesdays at Regal). It was a hilarious movie and I thought it was excellently done -- a good mix of fantasy and comedy. I was totally not expecting DeNiro's character to be as funny and eccentric as he was, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
The next morning the 4 of us met up early to head over to Disney. My third day of theme-parking in the past 5 days. We started out at Magic Kingdom and spent most of the day there, and then headed to MGM for a few rides before finishing up at Epcot to spend the evening and watch the fireworks. It was a super long day and we were completely exhausted by the end, but we managed to crawl back to our cars and head home happy at the end of the day.
At Epcot we walked around through all the countries for a bit, and I feel like I'm becoming a boring adult because I actually enjoyed that aspect of Disney for once and want to go back to actually visit each country there and see everything they have to offer. Now that I've actually traveled somewhat, my mind has been opened up, and the prospect of exploring the different cultures and foods is interesting and exciting. I can remember going there on school field trips before, and no one ever thought Epcot was all that fun (because it was the "educational" park), but it was a day to get out of school and therefore something to still enjoy. There's a lot more rides there now, but I'm starting to find the World Showcase to be more fun in its own right.
