Beginning of a new year

Looks like another awesome weekend has come and gone. I find myself reflecting at moments like this on how thankful I am for having such special people there to share in these memorable times. It's almost like there's an "aura" that lasts for several days after which makes me think wow, this could be some of the best times in my life. What fun! With that said, within the past months, I've made some new friendships that continue to grow. I think that God puts certain people in your path for a reason. So I guess what I'm saying is thanks to all of you for just being you. :) Enough of the cheesiness, but it stood to be mentioned. I feel like this is gonna be a good semester, hopefully not just for me, but for others as well. It's still hard to believe how fast this school year has flown by. Seems like it was just August not long ago. Crazay. My classes seem to be nice, possibly enjoyable. I know one thing, I'm happy that I don't have even one science lab...definitely a 1st since I started college. Plus I get to take 2 "non-science" classes making it nice to have a break and hear about something different for a change. Speaking of which, my theories of personality class seems pretty interesting. I actually learned something about myself in class on Tuesday. Hopefully, more insight will follow as the semester progresses. We're talking about dreams tomorrow. Nifty. As for my molecular genetics teacher, she has a thing with clearing her throat in between statements so much that she did it 126 times in 50 mins on Friday. But it was down to 58 times today so there was marked improvement. I'm not counting, but my friend sitting next to me does, so that now I watch her make a mark everytime she does it. Kind of funny really. At least it's only 50 mins. She reminds me of Julie cuz I know it would drive her crazy if she was there. Well, tomorrow I'm finally gonna get a new printer. Yay! It's like you never need it until it's not there to use anymore. It's inevitable. I shall also buy a new fish. Apparently, they don't sell Beta at Walmart anymore...at least in Auburn. Not quite sure why, but anyways. It was good to hear that Jenny's pharmacy interview went well. It was totally the good luck candy I gave her. Haha. J/k. No, but seriously it's really nice to see when hard work pays off. Kind of sets the bar for the rest. Anyways, it's late and I must finish this article on parvovirus for virology. Fun fun... Hope everyone has the rest of a fantastic week! Love to all~
P.S.--Don't forget to watch the Alan Greenspan show tomorrow night!
