...to be honest, half of this post is to show off this userpic. I heart it. And yes, Cullen, I do doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.
Anyways, I'm really quite excited that when I was popping through the news during my American Catholic History course and saw a flipping sweet news story. I'm not going to post it in its entirety, but just look up anything on the "Serve America" act and you'll see what I mean.
It's AWESOME!
And I've already e-mailed the head of Nebraska's Higher Education group in order to get put into contact with CSC's group.
Throughout this entire time, this entire recession, I really think that we live in exciting times. Sure, they're pretty damn bad. But the Depression got better. Those people got to live and see the New Deal. This Serve America Act is definitely part of our own New Deal, our own liberal ascendancy. Makes me feel damn good.
