Just got my letter from the Ackles family
I think probably most of you have seen it and/ or have been receiving your own letters, but I never would have thought they would actually send it this far!
For everyone who has no idea what I'm talking about: Last year at a convention, Jensen told us about his nephew Levi who has Down Syndroms and about the Buddy Walk in Dallas and Team Levi. I was "watching" the con live on twitter and was among the first people who donated, but then it just exploded and we, as a fandom, collected a lot of money for this cause and that beautiful little boy.
For Christmas last year, they already sent out Christmas Cards with a Thank You note. Now today, I got this super sweet picture of Jensen and Levi with Jensen's autograph (I don't think it's "real", as in Jensen signed every picture. I can't even imagine how he would have found the time to do that) and a letter saying thank you once again. The crazy thing is: the letter is hand-signed by a member of the Ackles family!
I'm absolutely speechless that they're actually doing this. That they decided to sit down and print out all those letters and handwrite all the addresses and even send them as far as Germany! I'm so moved by their gratefulness and appreciation. Giving and receiving is clearly a cycle and it just never ends :))
