so this is goodbye?
first megaupload and now all the other filesharing sites are deleting the us ip adresses. yes, there will be ways for us europeans (and the rest of the world that is not us) to watch american tv show, but it will be so much harder and more dangerous, right? I don't know much about this topic, but I'm really scared.
But that basically means goodbye. With the european fandom cut off, I don't know how long we will last. No new episodes for a while? Man, I don't know.
And it's not just Supernatural, because that fandom is quite strong by now. But what about the new ones? The ones with barely a few episodes under the belt. With us cut off, there will be no chance of forming a fandom. We get most shows a year or two after they aired in the us. that's too late for being part of the fandom.
What makes me really angry is that so many artists, musicians, actors don't seem to care. Can they not see what's happening?! This time, it's really THEIR turn to do something. They have to stand up, they have to speak up, because it's THEIR fandoms that are being killed.
I'm just so super sad and angry right now. And maybe I was on tumblr too much.
