ok hiawatha was great, as i suspected it would be. i definitely regret missing out on it for the past 11 years.
the first day, camping on the north country trail was honestly one of the scariest things ever and i didnt think i would stop hyperventilating on the way to our tent, but it was just so hilarious that i loved it. our shitty tent from my parents trip to alaska 20 years ago that smelled like wet polar bear or something sick was so uncomfortable, being set up on rocks and all on a sloping mountain top and all. a mountain top where i had to sleep with a hammer under my pillow to guard claire and i from wild animals, but yet the tent just completed it, i think.
it was great to wake up the next morning, walk down to hiawatha, and take a nice little ride in a horse drawn carriage back to the car. the dance that night was pretty fun, also, at least after me and claire moved away from the crowd so we could really rock out. and dance with paulies friend neil, hahahah, im such a creep. then the after bonfire was fun. i enjoyed smelling like bacon the next morning due to lack of shower, as well. being rained out of tess and kellys tent was unlucky, but oh well, we needed rain.
anyways. in conclusion, im definitely getting an actual campsite next year, because it was pretty fun. i still have to go get that tent off the top of that hill, damn it. im sure its still there since it was in such an obscure location.

currently, my cars breaks are being fixed and im kind of stranded. which is ok, since almost everyone is out of town, but now im kind of bored. its sad because today is one of my only days off of work ive had recently, minus babysitting. oh well, bored = relaxing, and thats fun i suppose
