Hello, I am new to this community and I also have a blog: Purebred German Shepherd

I also have a German Shepherd who is almost 2 years old and her name is Ava. She is a Purebred but I am wanting to adopt my next one.

wow- I don't check my blog often, sorry- but I am so glad someone finally posted on this almost dead thread, I wish more would- I got my first to pure bred shelter German Shepherds by adoption. One had two hours left to live when I got him. He was a really awesome dog. My third "Rin Tin Tin" is my first gotten as a puppy - I did make sure he was from a breeder I visited, I protest against puppy stores and all they sell, poor dogs bred to death in puppy mills. The breed is amazing, I also now have two dogs- one is a coyote/dog also gotten from a high kill shelter- My German Shepherd is 120 lbs. a bit over sized for show, but all German Shepherd- his sire and dam come from Totana-of-Piper-Hills. My mix is a more easily handled size, about 35 lbs. I find myself on Facebook on The German Shepherd Dog Community more often, but it is a crowded place, sometimes a bit opinionated but always a good source for everything German Shepherd (my latest dog is 4 years old)
