Anywho, some have read my story from Pre-Calc. Tom, if you feel I should post it, say yes, cuz I know you read it.
Band is frustrating me. This is the last straw, no more CRAP. If I find ANYONE disobeying me, or any of my student leader friends, I WILL YELL. I have a low anger threshold, as some know, and I will not hold back. I'm tired of this attitude, and I WILL make suggestions to remove people from the band, holes or no holes. Don't give me any of this "give them a chance" crap, because there is NO EXCUSE. Band WILL BE split in two next year, or I will NOT RETURN. I am so shocked at the poor quality of music coming from the trumpets, and this includes EVERY TRUMPET. I LEARNED TO PLAY THE TRUMPET IN 3 DAYS, WITH GOOD TONE, WHY CAN'T YOU EVEN PLAY A HALF NOTE!? I don't care who you are in the section, you're lack of practice is bringing this band down. Our music is easy...Johnny B. Goode is the easiest song! Why you can't play it is beyond my wildest dreams!!! I want to hold music sectionals with ALL OF THE BRASS. As far as ability goes, it seems that Tom, Estevan, and I, as well as that Alex Reese, hold the ENTIRE BAND UP.
Josh, please keep practicing, Heather, you have not improved from last year. Why? You should have my dumb solo! It's meant to be played on trumpet! The notes only sound good on a trumpet, believe me I tried.
Everyone needs to try a new instrument. I myself am learning french horn, and will be playing it next year.
The Lord knows I sounded selfish just now, but anyone who contests the above needs to rethink. On Tuesday, you WILL see an angrier me, because I will NOT put up with CRAP.
