so...new things in germany....
i got a letter about 5 days ago saying loads of german shit that i DID NOT understand. exept i knew it was from the post office. cuz it had the "post" symbol on it. :-D
turns out i had a package. but i had to drive to this town that was half an hour away, and open it in front of the guy, because it was big, and the worht of it was over 450 euro. GAH. so Renate took me. (she wasnt exstatic about it...i felt kinda bad) ad we were worried that they would make me pay AGAIN to receive it. but it turned out to be christmas gifts. so they didnt make me pay. (THANK GOD CUZ THEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN PISSED. cuz my mom paid alot ot send it and then i would have to pay more to pick it up and....well i wouldnt have been happy)
so i got home and really opened it. and there was all this christmas stuff, gifts, and christmas m&m's and my faithful falmin' hot cheetos. and i had been missing my mom alot that day and her handwriting was all over everything. so there were definitly a few tears shed. but it was really nice to get that box. even though it came about a mon th earlier than i was expecting it. and now ive got to store christmas presents for over a month.
its starting to feel like christmas here. im SOO EXICTED for the Weinachtsmarkt (christmas market) germany is KNOWN for these markets, that are kinda like mini theme-parks that go up around christmas. and they sell all this german christmas stuff. (i dont know how many of u know it, but ALOT of american christmas tradtinions originate from germany) so im SYCHED. and people are putting up christmas lights and berlin is all decorated and it just makes me happy.
im also missing sergio ALOT. but thats not really news to anybody is it?
school is still shit. my art teacher is making me do a presentation on "Land Art" watever the hell that is. (in german of course) problem is that since im in germany, google only searched german websites. so im having a hard time finding inforamtion that i can actually UNDERSTAND. guh.
and that box arrived none to soon. it had my ice skates in it and i went ice skating the next day (as in yesterday). and today my ankles are brused like nobody's buisness. and my legs hurt in weird places. but yesterday felt GOOD and i had FUN. even though they hadn't cleaned the ice in 24 hours and it was HORRIBLE and made me fall alot. i didnt care dammit. i was skating. and i can STILL LAND THAT FLIP DAMMIT. i cannot however do a flying camel anymore. that was a failed attempt. but ive gopt all winter to try and get it back. :-D
