well im finally starting to feel like i have a LIFE again.

on thursday i came home after school and gave up on having a life...and just went to take a nap. (i can't take naps...does that tell you how BORED i have been?) so yeah...i was sleeping. even though, usually when i sleep in the middle of the day i have funky dreams.

i had this one last week where there was a girl with a sledgehammer chasing me. she was trying to kill me with it...just to prove she was crazy. and then Sergio showed up (on a bike of course, welcome to germany) and then she was chasing both of us...and then she chilled out, but these elf things were trying to trap us, and if you ran away, you sorta glowed so they could find you again. i had run away for the 4th time when i finally said "screw this" and woke myself up. lol. it kinda felt like when ur holding ur breath underwater and then you pull urself up again. anyway...enough about that.

anyway...back to thursday. i was woken up because my cell phone was ringing. wich was odd....cuz my cell phone never rings...cuz no one loves me like that. (except when axel calls me because hes putting off doing english papers, lol) But it was Christine, (the girl from Indiana) she invited me to see a movie with her in Berlin. and i was like YES! GET ME OUTTA THIS HOUSE PLEEEESE! LOL. so then i had to rush through mess. cuz none of my family was home, so i had to call my host dad at work to ask if i could go. and he said yes. and then i had to figure out how to get to berlin.

see unlike Kimi, i DONT live IN the city. lol. i live 20 minutes away by train. but that means that i have to first ride all the way across town to the train station (Falkensee is bigger than i thought) adn then figure out that big train to get to Spandau. Spandau isn't technically Berlin either, but it nudges right up next to it. and the train station there is my "jump point" into Berlin. i was very nervous because i had never done the trains alone before.

i actaully "stole" to Spandau, be cause i couldnt figure out how to buy a ticket. *cringes*

anyawy, i got to Spandau, and Anita had told me to take S7 or S24 in order to get to Potsdammer Platz, where i was meeting Christine. so i bought a ticket (i was proud) and went to the correct platform...but there WAS no S7 or S25. there was only S9 OR S75. so i was confused for like...20 minutes, when i finally got up the courage and walked on one and asked this family with kids. they didnt know, but a guy in the same compartment told me that, yes i needed to be on this train, and he sat me down, handed me a map of the Berlin Underground in English and showed me how to get there. lol. he was really nice. thank god i got him and not some freak. who licks me. and steals my water. ANYWAY.

so i had ot go from Spandau to Freidricksstrasse (Freidricks street, but in german they like to mush words together to make them as long as possible. i call it word-blender) and then from Freidricksstrasse i needed to take either S1 or S2 to Postdammer Platz. so i got to Friedricksstrasse and got mixed up and acidenttally got on a train that was going back where i had just come from. *growl* so i got BACK to Friedricksstrasse. (im already late, even though i left with an hour and a half to spare...dont ask me how i worked that) and christine called me and told me that i needed to go to platform 1 to get to s1 and s2. so i went. but by then it was so late that they werent there anymore.after waiting 20 mintes, and figureing that out. i went runnign around the station trying to find someone who could tell me where i needed to go. (in german of course...im not cheeting) a lady in a blue vest told me that i needed to go to "Gelis Elf" (aka, track 11) so i ran around again...found it, jumped on the first train, and i two stops later i was pulled right in front of where chritine was waiting with her host brother. we laffed it off and hugged and went to see the movie.

we were talking about how, while that stuff is happening, all you can think is "this is NOT funny", but when its over...its HILARIOUS lol.

the movie we saw? Thank You for Smoking. (but its in german of course) haha. guess what...the word "tit" translated directly. we were laffing so hard. instead of "are you a tit man?" the line was "Sind du ein Titten fan?" HAHAHA SO GREAT.

so theres was my first solo excursion into Berlin.

but yesterday (friday) i went shopping with Caro and her mom in Berlin. they were shopping mainly for gifts for Caro to bring to Spain. wich means i had an oppertunity to buy Berlin pins. i almost bought a flag...but it was 10 euros...and caro said it could get it cheeper. so i laid off. lol. we also went to this really cool british soap shop...it was really fun. but i retrained myself from buying anything.

then we got Starbucks...milk of heaven. tasted sooo good. i havent had it since i left.

and then we jsut sorta bummed around for a while. (in Potsdammer platz again) and i bought a dress shirt that ireally liked....and i liked the price too. and the James Blunt CD. in germany, cd's are cheeper! only 10 euros! (so like 12 dollars) so...not alot cheeper. but HEY! i was happy. Caro and i were gonna go party, but we were tired and it was past 8 already. (meaning that we couldn't go buy beer) so we decided to do it tonight instead. lol. yay!

i've been listing to hrry potter on ym ipod again. cuz im putting off starting anouther book. but in reality ive gootten through the 4th harry potter and started on the 5th. dont worry...ill get it in german beofre i leave for italy.

oh yeah, ill be in Sardenia the 6th through the 17th. Yay pinkie!!!

sometimes im really happy with my german. sometimes im really depressed about it. now is definitly a depressed. so im taking advanced steps against it. and im seriosuly cutting back on my computer time and german books are on the run. im seriously sick of this. of sucking at german i mean. i will COMMUNICATE! dammit.

sergio is overdue e-mail wise. *shakes fist* lol. im kidding

i've neer expierienced an Indian Summer before. man its beautiful. the trees are so many diffrent colors, but the skys are clear, its not hot or cold, and...the wether is just perfect right now.

i have lost 3 kilos since i got here. *dances*
