(no subject)
today was more amazing than any day in like the last five years.
seriously. it was INCREDIBLE.
1. Went to Dusseldorf with Carolina.
2. Met Jessica at the train station. Got her "business card" which was...extremely weird. She's 18? Wants to go out though which is always fine with me.
3. Found a new way to my shopping street.
4. Found out where I normally shop is RIGHT next to the Altstadt (Old Town), and Konigsallee (Street with some of the best shopping in the WORLD...you even get to ring doorbells so you can enter the store!!)
5. Went to Starbucks, had a white chocolate mocha, and spoke English the entire time.
6. Met a man from Lafayette. He was an old friendly business man type, but totally nice nonetheless.
7. Shopped. And I mean shopped.
8. Saw six gazillion christmas stores that were probably as beautiful as I don't know, a bride or something.
9. November means CHRISTMAS MARKETS in Dusseldorf. SoOoOo cool! Along with the beeeaaut-i-ful christmas decorations everywhere else!
10. Went to the Rhine for the first time in Dusseldorf. Umm...just plain gorgeous.
11. FINALLY found the brewery that I checked out online. The plan was to take my dad there, and now I am deefinitely going to do so!
12. Ate Doners. Turkish food that is just too tastey. And had fountain Coke. Something I haven't had for oohh I'd say 1 month, maybe 2. Way too long if you ask me.
13. BRITISH GUYS. Attractive ones. Enough said.
14. Found a store called Lush. Has alllll kinds of neat stuff that is alll hand made, and NOT tested on animals. I also bought a funky hand fixer that is like a bar of soap, but sent straight from heaven. The lady also gave me this bath fizz ball just because she is THAT cool.
15. Talked about faith for the first time in a while. I was wondering what was going on, and after I said what I felt led to I knew exactly where I stand. And let's just say, i'm in a great place.
16. It snowed for the first time in Germany since i've been here. Although I froze all day long, it was unbelievable!
17. Spent SO much time just talking about everything going on, and constantly thought about my dad, mom, and sister coming. There are no words to describe how excited I am for that. No joke.
18. Found galoshes to purchase, and will do that next time I go back. Mmmm galoshes. <3
19. Went to Habitat. If you are a devout german_fever reader, you will know that that is my "new" favorite store. Habitat + Christmas time makes me suuuper giddy.
The list could go on, and if you read down to here, you get all the points in the world from me.
My hope is that whoever reads this will be as happy as I am right now, because oh...it's delightful.
