i just realized this whole entry is about our current outside environment
can someone please tell me why my front yard and doorframe is the only place in maryland that is already swarmed with cicadas.
i am such a girl, today i absolutely freaked when i saw them all after stepping out onto my front stoop. then i preceeded to get into my car and let out a shiver and little screech of disgust. i think that im gonna have to stay inside for the next month. so if you all begin to wonder, thats why u wont be seeing me.

please keep this delightful weather up. i am thoroughly enjoying it. but it would be greatly appretiated by all if a slight cool breeze was added.
