Pin Me Up
This morning I woke up early, went to the convenience store next door, and bought coffee, cream, and sugar. This is what my coffee addiction has brought me to. I get free coffee via Raja - whom I was scheduled to see only a few hours earlier - and my gallon of fresh organic raw milk is due to arrive today. But I had to have my morning beverage first thing. And I did. And it was good.
After my first cup Raja arrived and we did a brainstorm session at - oh, the irony! - a coffee shop. Raja can not stand theTexas heat heat, whereas Darling and I are not using the air conditioner yet. So we hung out at Flipnotics to take advantage of the free air and map out Ambi's surprise graduation present. We're gathering our group of friends and taking pin-up style photographs to be compiled into a calendar. We have less than two weeks to pull this off, but we'll be getting the first two images Monday and hopefully at least two more on Tuesday.
After the creative meeting i came home to another cup of coffee, had breakfast, and cleaned the bedroom all nice and shiny. Mostly.
Star Trek was really good to me yesterday, despite management's continuous war against sensibility. Lately it seems like they are more bent on sabotaging the business than I am, which puts me in the awkward position of wanting to save the store from the people in charge of it. I need to step back, remember this isn't my "real job," and focus on getting photographs of my friends in sexy poses...(While contributing the least humiliating photo of myself possible).
