all you whiny fuckers out there... think about those folks in N.O. who have no home and nothing to go back to. Our school has 7 kids so far who are from N.O. and registering for classes in Atlanta Public Schools this week. They have NOTHING and need to start school immediately. The last thing on their mind is school b/c they still need to grieve for their families and loss of home. I have to teach them and also keep in mind that they have missed out on their first weeks of school in N.O. and that they have lost everything in their lives that is meaningful. These poor children and parents. My thoughts go out to them. The next time you think you are depressed and up shit creek, think about the folks that are dealing with a loss that has never come about in all of american history. we have never seen this type of devestation. we are all lucky compared to them.
