this is the end
Holy Guacamole! The year is officially over. My classroom is packed, every chair, desk, bookcase and filing cabinet is labeled, every box is labeled and numbered. I am not looking forward to this move again next year but it will be so worth getting into a renovated school.
I was able to leave work at 3pm which was so great. Peter came to help me with my last load o' crap to put in the car then he went back to work. One of my teacher friends and I went to Rock Bottom Brewery to relax and celebrate. Two other teachers showed up later on. Peter unexpectedly showed up around 5:30 and chugged 24oz of stout...very impressive. Before I left, a fellow science teacher gave me his pet tarantula (in a tank thankfully. kinda creepy but cool. his name is Quentin. We came home, put Quentin on a table and took the dogs for a walk. Peter and I had a hand squeezing contest (don't ask) and he squeezed my wedding ring into the side of my finger..i am forever scarred. it was a bloody battle. then we unnecessarily ordered a pizza and watched the first 2 hours of Troy which is actually kind of good. Went to bed a bit tipsy...always a pleasure.
This morning peter woke up and had to go to WORK. hahahahaha. nope, not me...i slept in until 10 and now i'm sitting on my ass drinking tea. So much to do, so much time to do it in, and so few motivated people to do it. i am soooo lazy. i love it.
Well i'm going to pretend to pack until peter gets home. over and out.
