the end of something incredible
I just finished watching what there was (only two seasons) of Carnivale, a show that collpased under its own awesomeness. Or just expensiveness...$4 million an episode! I'm glad I finally watched it and got into it even though the series ended prematurely. It comes to some resolution at least, but it really just barely scratches the surface of the whole story. I guess this is what it felt like for "Browncoats' when Firefly ended. Unfortunately, my parents don't have the DVDs for that one, so I've still only seen a few episodes and a movie. The movie didn't give me the same sense of unfulfilled potential though.
That's pretty much the only thing of note I did today, spending most of the day in a lethargic stupor. I wish I'd drunk a few cups of coffee when I got up or something, because the weather here was fabulous and starting tomorrow it goes back to chilly.
