some time

So the topic of trust has been on my mind for quite some time, and I have come to the realization that trust is the foundation of all relationships, be they friendships, family, intimate or other. trust is the bonding agent by which everything is held together. if the bond is jeopardized or broken in any manner, then well, that ship has sailed. Trust is the most important factor in my mind. So the question is can others trust you and can you trust those others? if the answer to both is yes, then some sort of _ _ _ _ _ _ _ship is formed. if either answer is no, then there can be no friend or relation, that ship will never sail. If the trust is broken, then the ship will sail.

So why, I ask, do some not value this nor see the importance in trust? Do they not trust themselves? I don't know, but I have figured out that people who betray my trust do not deserve to be considered a friend. They've burned that bridge and for whatever reason have deemed that not to be important. Well I do! Trust is in, betrayers are out. Simple as that...

Trust is earned, not granted.
Trust is fragile, not meant to be abused.
Trust is everything.
Trust is simple.
Trust just is.
Without it, well, i suppose we would not exist and everyone would be a murderous fiend out for their own ends.

So now i figure that any future _ _ _ _ _ _ ship has to have trust earned. Granted, I feel that sometimes I am able to trust others better than other people I meet, but I figure that goes for anybody.

Well, that is my rant for the night.
To all who read this and are a friend, I value your trust and I know you value mine. I prefer to keep it that way, and I would hope you do too :)
