(no subject)
So i am eating a box of assorted fruit flavored gumdrops better know as "dots"
and it is yummy, although i know my teeth are not going to thank me tommorow. yucky.
esmes birthday went quite well. I was really disapointed in a lot of the party, only because i am insane and try to be perfect. The place we rented for the party told us at the last minute we could not come early to set anything up. wtf!
i finally managed to get them to come unlock the doors but only 30 mins before the party. my yoga lady was really sweet and she was there when i started setting up and she helped me a lot. anyway, everyone who attended was really nice and said they loved it, that it was great and amazing for a kids party, would love to come to m y parties more often and nice things. I know charles and esme were really happy and proud and so i just shut up about everythin i thought should have been better, reminded myself it was a 4 year old girls party, and had a huge slice of cake ha.
anyway, anything bad was all made up for when she opened her gift from me. I bought her a guitar, a real one, and had it custom painted for her in her favorite shade of purple. her name is on it and a horse. (i hate horses, they make me think of all the girls in junior high who i couldnt stand who painted thier nails with french manicures and wore braids in their hair///i have issues)
anyyyyway. she loved it soooo much. She opened it, nearly dropped it, and was jumping up and down. and then she said "i have waited for this my whole life"
nothing in the world will ever take that away and i am so happy that she was so happy.
We are going to get her lessons from someone more knowledgeable than I, and that should start soon. til then she is just admiring it. and talking about it a lot. haha.
I am still feeling overwhlemed with school, but I got one huge paper and a marketing exam out of the way so now i have only one more final project and i am freeeeeeeee.
This year was supposed to be the year i made like 2000 a month off of my paintings, photography and other random things. It is not happening. I made quite a bit this year but right now is when we need it most and its just not happening. I am so busy though..i cant even justify stopping the things i have giong on right now and painting anything etc. I guess also, with all the money problems all of us are having I wouldnt even feel right selling a painting or charging a lot to take pictures.
