Did I ever tell you about the time I was stuck on a turtle?

A great big world turtle. HUGE. Islands got out of its way.  I built a few huts on the flat of the shell. Wood's not hard to find, as this beastie just runs over ships.  Gives me able firewood, too. Just strike the kindling on the side of my face....

The Seventh Sea is very strange. Still no clue why trumps refuse to work here.  I'm steering ole Turty here in the direction out, but I've been doing that for the past month, and I think I'm going in circles.

I say this thing is a turtle, that's sort of a generalization. I mean, your average turle, size excluded, doesn't have a flat top and doesn't lift part of the center of its shell to breathe. That's how I manage to keep it from submerging...shoving planks of wood in the opening so it doesn't wash out my huts. (Again.) Learned you can steer that way, too.

Wonder how things are back home.
