A bit of an Anchor

My birthday is at least slightly imminent.

Accordingly, I'm planning a birthday meal at 7pm on Saturday February 28th in The Anchor, Sutton Gault. I'm also intending to do a pubmeet in Cambridge itself on either the Friday or Sunday evening. We'd love to come, but unfortunately we're already booked that evening for a meal in March (I can feel my chromosomes webbing up already).

Unfortunately I'm running a fencing competition that weekend, and in fact have most weekends booked until late march now :-(

I shall have to pass :-(

I'm up for the Cambridge part of the festivities, but relying on lifts and/or punting down Hundred-Foot Drain from the railway halt at Manea presents insuperable practical difficulties.
