Summaries and thoughts of various dramas:
Sanzen Sekai 4: Just so I don't forget that I've heard it again... Extremely dangerous mission warrants usage of Brain Gear. Suwabe collapses due to Brain Gear usage.
Barairo no Jinsei: Yocchin just got out of prison. Hoping to turn over a new leaf, he decided to help out in his father's izakaya when he sees his family again only to find out that the izakaya is no longer there and his parents died three years earlier on their way to visit him in prison. His brother harbored a lot of anger/resentment towards him and told him to forget they were ever brothers. All alone in the world, sinking in his despair, he tried to die of overdose but failed. Then he tried to jump off a bridge but Maeno turned up to talk him out of him. Thinking it will put a stop to Maeno's efforts, Yocchin asked if Maeno will take care of him if he listens to Maeno and give up on suicide. Maeno agreed, and so Yocchin's life began to slowly turn itself upright again.
I quite like this drama cd. It's not the most amazing story ever, and there are things I do not like in it but it's memorable in that the seme starts off at the lowest point of his life. I can honestly understand why he'd want to end his life. I wanted him to die as well. His resolve to start anew crumbled upon all the terrible things he learnt once he was out of prison and he went back to drugs and tried to rob and old man. Then, he raped the guy who wanted to help him... It's only Maeno's sheer persistence in WANTING TO HELP HIM that made Yocchin think that perhaps, if there is one person who still cares, then he can try to live again too. And then he fell for Maeno and throughout the two discs, has terrible self-worth issues to go with his DEEP LOVE (seriously, everyone he knows knows he is head over heels in love with his mysterious Ron-chan). The parts about Yocchin's family was really ow. ._. Especially that part when Yocchin bumped into his sister-in-law and nephew and found out that his brother died as well about three years after he had his last conversation with him (the one where he was told to forget that they were ever brothers) because his brother never really meant it. Those were words said in the heat of the moment when he was feeling too angry and I think his brother probably regretted it.
That said, I find Yocchin and Maeno's laughing and crying in this story a little unnatural.
... Short summaries is a lie. Haha.
Binetsu no Kajitsu: Tachibana is the No. 1 host of a host club (he's called Queen, the title of the no. 1 spot but is actually a princess). Maeno's a haraguro keigo-using newbie who shot up the ranks like crazy to become the No. 3 host (i.e. Bishop). One night, they had sex. Then, they continued to have sex. Then Maeno leaves and Tachibana is angry at Maeno for NOT TELLING HIM. Wait, that's a rather inaccurate description. Tachibana's angry at Maeno 99% of the time while Maeno indulges the princess and then calls him naive and a nice person (perhaps deeep down beneath all his bristling fur). There was a half Russian newbie host later who comes to troll Tachibana. The only reason I'm including this point in my summary is because I find the exchange between half Russian host and Maeno amusing.
... Listen for haraguro Maeno and bitchy Tachibana, I guess?
Busaiku Danshi Ikemen Kareshi no Tsukurikata: Shimono's childhood friends, Hatano and Tanitani are in love with him. He can't choose between them and he wants to continue being with them. Solution? 3P.
This bld is cute, I guess... but not very memorable.
