I'm devouring all the Sainkoku readable/viewable/listenable stuff I can find while waiting for my BT to finish. >.< I NEED MORE!!! In four days, I dled and watched ep 1-14 and currently, my BT of ep 15 is crawling at 7kb/s. T____T The more I watch, the more I love it and I can't stand not being able to continue watching RIGHT NOW. Argh!

... in other news, I reread Hikago, and is on a Hikago fever as well. Why don't anyone write Ko Yong-Ha with Su-Yon? >.> Am I the only one who saw that pairing? In fact, I haven't seen a single fic on the Korean pros... Maybe I'm just looking at all the wrong places.
Anyway, here are some caps from sainkoku because I'm twitching from my inability to WILL THE BT TO MOVE FASTER.
First, the intros~
This is Kou Shuurei, main girl charac who's pretty much multi-talented, hates waste, determined and dreams of becoming an official even though she's a girl.
Shi Seiran/Seien, who watched Shuurei grow up and was taken in by Shuurei's father 13 years ago. He's jack-of-all-trades/retainer (?) of Shuurei's family? XDD; Also secretly older brother to Ryuuki but cannot reveal that because he was exiled 13 years ago.
Shi Ryuuki, emperor to Sainkoku. Rumoured to like men, doesn't govern properly at first. He's the sixth prince, but was born in an inauspicious time, so he was bullied/abused when he was younger by his mother and brothers. He loved his second brother, Seien, the most because Seien cared about him.
Kou Shouka. Shuurei's father, and he works in the Archives. He's incapable in the kitchen, makes killer tea, looks like he's not all there, fatherly and kinda etc etc.. but IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE? dundundunnnn...
Li Kouyuu, Vice Secretary of Civil Affairs (I think). Tutors Ryuuki and has a little problem with directions. Also has a little problem with the fairer sex. XD
Lan Shuuei, personal guard to the Emperor. Best friend to Kouyuu and lady's man. It's 'his job' to find Kouyuu when he's lost. ^_~
Lan Ryuuren, though he doesn't appear until later. Younger brother of Shuuei, and super eccentric. Genius eccentric character who wanders from place to place and calls Shuuei "Idiot brother no. 4".
.. then, there are the three geezers who are the advisors to the Enperor, but I didn't cap them sooo...
The story:
Saiunkoku is a world of eight provinces or houses, each named after a different colour. The new Emperor, Shi Ryuuki, has gained for a reputation for being uninterested in courtly matters and for flaunting his love for men. Shuurei, although born of the important Kou family, has difficulty making ends meet. She easily accepts an invitation to be the Emperor's concubine in order to turn him into a good ruler.
