Verdict: RYUUKI~! ♥♥♥
I've been bitten by the Saiunkoku bug. I'M HORRIBLY ADDICTED. I actually spent every few seconds or so checking my BT the whole day, and then I kept heart-marking at the monitor, and I think I saw sparkles in the air, and I probably made lotsa half-squeals-and-kyaas today, and the Seien-Ryuuki brotherly love is KILLING ME SO SO SWEETLY, and the Shuuei-Kouyu is so very very NEARLY canon, and then ep 6 killed me with wtf, really canon jijii-love? and and... and
RYUUUUUUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
It's been so long since I squeed over a SekiTomo charac. It's been so long since I HEARD SekiTomo in the main cast.
ah, not the point.
The point is RYUUKI IS SO ADORABLE, I WANNA HUGGLE, PET HIM, FEED HIM MANJUU AND GIVE HIM MORE CUDDLES. And I'm SHIPPING RyuukixShuurei, and that's HET, and I was wary at first that the main girl charac would turn me off the series despite the pretty cast and pretty characs, but no, not really, and I'm CHEERING YOU ON, RYUUKI! You can do it!

um, special mention of Ryuuren for making me giggle the whole ep, because yeah, I like eccentric people.
