Big week ahead.
Buster's mom is sick in the hospital 250 miles away. She'll be heading up there tomorrow to be with her. We know she'll be there at least until Monday and probably longer. That means I get to play both parental parts during the week. To make it more interesting, I've got jury duty on Wednesday, along with Bit's 5th birthday the same day. I would've sent back the jury duty notice saying I was reponsible for the care of young children if I had known that in fact I would be responsible for the care of young children. Seems like I should get out of it pretty easily. I expect work to be understanding of this, one of the nice things about my company is that they really understand the "work-life" balance. Pretty good for an evil tree-killing oil company ;)
