Lady Mags, School for Slags

Yes, I am avoiding doing my timed essay. This is infinitely preferable, thank you very much, and as I have exhausted almost all of my other procrastination methods I turn to filling out a LMS quiz gallantly provided by Maud.

Quiz

1. Name: Georgia

2. Year: 13

3. Favourite LMS moment (what a crap question): Erm - the plays. Anything to do with (mostly vicariously) shameless exhibitionism and much innuendo

4. Favourite teacher (and why): Hmmm, let me think

5. Worst teacher (and why): The lissshp, the lissshp! The bald, shiny pate and scary lizard skin don't help either, the effect only heightened by the inappropriate comments

6. Favourite bands/musicians: Oh, many. I'm a one-hit wonder girl, me. Anything else would require a developed taste in music.

7. Tell us how much you love Yeti (only answer if you know who Yeti are): Not as much as Maud, but I do appreciate them.

8. Favourite films: Mar Adentro, Volver (that's the intellectual foreign ones out of the way) Toy Story 1 & 2, The Incredibles - in fact, all Disney films and most Pixar animation ones, Moulin Rouge, Practical Magic, X-Men, Spiderman. Was recently introduced to Withnail & I, which definitely deserves a mention, if only to get brownie points from glowering.

9. Favourite television programmes: Green Wing, Black Books, Peep Show, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Derren Brown. And I must confess a sad and frankly dangerous tendency to watch Hollyoaks

10. Favourite books: when I'm not being a literature student, Philip Pullman's trilogy, by God, anything and everything by Tamora Pierce, "Finding Cassie Crazy" by Jacklyn Moriarty, anything by Marianne Curley, "After You'd Gone" by Maggie O'Farrell, "The Hounds of the Morrigan" by Pat O'Shea, "Beauty" by Robin McKinley, "The Wind on Fire" trilogy by William Nicholson... When I am, "Emma" by Jane Austen, "Lady Chatterley's Lover" by DH Lawrence, "Music & Silence" by Rose Tremain... Just read "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, which is excellent.

11. Room 36 smells. Yea or nay? Yea, most of the time, but then again so does every form room for the first hour or so after lunch

12. Do you wear glasses? Yes, but contact lenses as much as possible. Glasses + bad skin + bad hair + slobby weekend clothes is not something the general viewing public should be subjected to.

13. If you were a guy for the day, what would you do? Take a good long look at the way my mind works so that later I could try to understand that they are not an entirely different species.

14. What's your favourite cheese? Ooh, tough choice. Also, weird question. Medium cheddar. Or Boursin. Or Brie. Or Goat's cheese. Oh, I don't know...

15. Crossdressing. Your views: Hell yeah
