A Good Day, But My Feet Hurt and I'm an Idiot

Aug 24, 2006 07:17

I had a great day yesterday. I left work at noon because I had a "doctor's appointment" (shhh) and Samia picked me up (on time, might I add!) We went to the train station to take a train into Toronto. I spent probably the first half hour that we were together babbling on about my wedding and getting married, like the self-absorbed bitch that I ( Read more... )

Ugh - that sucks!! I had that happen to me once...I was walking around the mall and had a couple of bags and didn't realize that I lost one until later. Luckily it was a cheap dress that I was going to wear for Halloween (I was dressing up as a Spice Girl...so this was YEARS ago! :P) and it was only $10 or so...but I was still ticked, because the store didn't have any more of those dresses and I thought that dress was perfect!

I hope you can find the dress somewhere else...AND get your money back.

Oh, but I'm glad that you had a good day and I'm sorry about Samia and Haseeb. That's so sad...I hope she is ok.

She seems okay but she's never been one to really show her emotions. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I've actually seen her cry. She'll be hurting for a few months I think but she'll bounce back. She's a tough chick.

Well, good for her! I'm glad to hear that...although sometimes its good to show your emotions and let yourself have a good cry. Maybe she just does it in private and doesn't let it show to other people...even her best friend.

Ugh that sucks. Even if the value wasn't that much, still the fact that you lost it would be really annoying.

Hehe I can picture you as a Spice Girl :) Which one were you?

I was actually Posh Spice - as a blond. :P My friend wanted to be scary and she had the curly hair, so it was good. Then, her roomie looked a lot like Sporty, so she did her (she had the body for it too!) So, it was between Baby and Posh, and while I would have been the better Baby, my friend's ex roomie (who is a whiny tail) complained that she wanted to be baby (although she would have been better as Posh since she had the brown hair). Oh well. It was fun - I got to wear a short dress, big ol' heels that made me about three inches taller (so about 5'10") and be all cute! :P
