Day 12
In your own space, rec at least three fanworks that you think would make a good intro into XYZ fandom. Rec a fandom overview, a introductory picspam, stories that define and shape the fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Well, damn. Everyone who knows me knows of course that Man from UNCLE is my One True Fandom. I also read a lot of CopShow!Fic because I am a CopShowAddict but those fandoms don't live in my head the way MFU does. (well, ok, NCIS pops up in my head every once in a while but only because what if he really is Illya Kuryakin takes over my brain and then I am accidentally writing a crossover I hadn't planned on, ya know? The truth is that I actually couldn't convince anyone to toe into the water of any other fandom because I don't keep a hundred bookmarks of any other show I'm one of those love it or hate it fans, I either love a show and want fiction or I'm just watching the show because it was the one on before or after the other show I was watching. There are two other fandoms that I know the source material on well enough to write but I don't because OMG picky about my canon and my personal interpretation of that canon, so I will never write in them, and no, they are not CopShows. So, um, how about some links to helpful stuff if you want to know more about my favourite show and then some links to stories because stories are always good things. yeah, that's the ticket.
IMDB lists all the MFU episodes, helpful when you trying to remember the episode where where Waverly steals the girl from Solo and Illya may or may not have been amused by the whole thing. Also helpful for trivia contests where the question is what episode did Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner guest star together years before Star Trek even began.

And last, one story. It's a general fic that underlines the connection and friendship between our favourite spies from UNCLE and if you are inclined to wearing slash goggles, they fit just fine but if you prefer the just friends road, this story travels that way just as well.
