Happy Eclipse Solstice

So yeah, there is a chunk of moon missing, full moon/eclipse/solstice night, oh my. I went outside long enough to observe that, yes, there is a monster eating the moon, but I am pretty sure she'll give it indigestion and it'll cough her back up here soon. All of these groovy astronomical/scientific events and my total reaction is "gah, what?" *runs back inside*

Eclipses creep me out, solar, lunar, all of them. Creepy. No reason, just gives me the heebie jeebies. *is a very bad Pagan/modern human/rational thinker*
