OK, Really!? You can be prone to giggle fits if you happen to have a hair trigger sense of humour and that means that you tend to laugh easily. You can be prone to vote Republican and that may mean that you have conservative leanings. BUT YOU CANNOT SIT PRONE ANYWHERE. YOU JUST CAN'T. THE WORD PRONE MEANS TO LIE FACE DOWN OR AS ANOTHER USAGE MEANS TO HAVE A TENDENCY TOWARD SOMETHING. THAT'S IT. THERE IS NO PRONE SITTING. "The cat is prone to sitting in my favourite chair." That is a fine sentence, the cat usually wants to be wherever I am, yes? BUT "The man sat prone in the chair." FUCKING PHYSICAL IMPOSSIBILITY.
