My cousin, he is a jackass.
He constantly sends me assinine email forwards full of hateful bullshit and I just got tired of hitting delete. When he isn't forwarding hateful bullshit he is sending me syrupy conservative religious bullshit. So I sent this as a reply to his latest racist stupidity:
Dear Mike
You do realize that this racist bullshit does not reflect well on your supposed Christianity, right? While you are hitting forward on all these hate filled and fear mongering posts that you continually send me, perhaps you would do well to ask yourself if Jesus would forward this message on.
My Jesus wouldn't.
Of course, what he doesn't know is that my Jesus is a rebel Jewish carpenter wanting to free his people from the Roman overlords and has more to do with the underdog than with the white middle aged middle class majority of which my cousin is firmly a part. ((and if I'm his cousin, I suppose that neither do I have anything in common with Jesus, but I'm a Pagan, I'm not claiming that a caucasianified guy co-opted by some upstart religion speaks for me.))
