emberwolfe is the best friend ever, and H&OhGee and BookGoddess and lilithschild also are full of Rawk and Win as well as DHM and J who both offered to drive me home, and every one of my friends (many of whom I can't even remember to write down here), cyber and IRL who have written or called or answered the phone when I called, every one of you, you are all the most wonderful people.
My SweetieGirl stayed with me all weekend and fed me and gave me chocolate and made lists for me and kept me from being lost. I really wouldn't have made it through the last three days without her holding my hand and my friends hanging out with me and checking in and caring.
I wish I could actually find vocabulary to express my gratitude and love for all these people. Maybe I am too sober, I think I might have to go have a drink and then I will at least think I am eloquent, even if I am not.

I will be leaving for Wyoming on Tuesday. BookGoddess is driving me up there since my car is a piece of shit that has almost no brakes left at all and is not safe for highway driving, and barely safe for getting me to the grocery store. The funeral will be Wednesday, and I will stay with Mom as long as I can. My aunt will bring me home next Monday.
My plane ticket is good for a year, I think I will go to N'Awlins as soon as I can manage after all this hell is settled, maybe I will celebrate my real 40th birthday there and go see KK in September. I really need me some Daiquiri Time with KK.
