I liked her music before last night, but now, WOW I am just in awe. Magical doesn't even begin to describe her and her beautiful music. She opens her mouth and this tangible power comes flowing out with her singing. Her music is elemental and takes me along for a fantastical ride to places in dream and spirit and makes me want to dance and sing and move and breathe in the vigorous energy of that sound. It is a whole sense experience to see her perform live and in person. And the bonus was that it happened in a very small and intimate venue so I felt like she was singing just to me, I am sure everyone in the room felt that. It was awe inspiring and full of beauty and grace and sultry power. And listening to her CDs all day today, makes me feel that again. Wow.
