Got back from NYC this morning. I had a good vacation. Both the Sox/Yankees games I went to we won so that made the trip alone. The first game Matt Clement was on fire and so were our bats. It was nice to see Rents hit that grand slam on Saturday. He did not get on base only twice total for both games I saw. His batting average almost shot up to .300! Jeter getting hit was a little scary you could hear it even where i was sitting way the hell up. I don't think MC did it intentionally especially since we were already kicking ass then. The Sunday game was cool because it was weird seeing Wells pitching in a Sox uniform at Yankee stadium. At first when he gave out homers to Jeter and Sheffeild I was thinking same ole Wells. He really surprised me and should have had the chance to finish off the last 2 outs. Papi hit 2 homers that game and you could see his spirits lift because he hadn't had any in awhile. The Saturday game Adam Sandler and Chris Rock threw out the first pitch. Chris Rock wasn't even close but I believe that was intentional. Billy Crystal threw the first pitch on the Sunday game. He missed the first time and re threw the first pitch and did much better the second time. In baseball games I went to this year I am 7-1 in teams I am cheering for. The only game this year that was a losing side one was when pedro beat out Smoltz. I went to Central park many time on the trip. I think it is one of my most fav places up there. Watched a real good "street performer" on Sunday in the park. David Ippilito or something like that. I know he has his own web page. He seemed to have a pretty good local following. I also when the the museum of natural history, walked across the Brooklyn bridge, hung out at times square among other things. I probably will post more nyc trip photos later when I have more time. For now I will post just game pics.
