Vacation, All I Ever Wanted
Home from vacation.
That may have been the most relaxing vacation I've ever taken. Eight days, and all we had to do was get to the beach and eventually feed the children (and ourselves). I went with the girls and, at the last minute, added my older sister and her son who is almost exactly 6 months older than Maggie. So. Much. Fun. The water was insanely warm and perfectly calm, the sandbar covered in sand dollars and bivalves of various sorts, and the water was often so clear you could see the fishies. Pelicans flying overhead, dolphins in the distance.
The. Best. Vacation. Ever.
Though I did miss HHH.
Still, I feel like a new woman. I soooo needed the ocean, and nothing else, for a good stretch.
And now I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind on my f'list. Anything big happen since the 13th?
In unrelated news, I saw this this morning. Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), on filming Order of the Phoenix: ""My bit is in September and October. It's a big blue-screen battle for a lot of it so that will be a laugh," he says. He adds, "We always have to sign these incredible confidentiality clauses where we offer up our children's eyeballs if we ever break them. I've never quite understood since they're the most popular books on the planet, but anyway, I think I'm involved in the big battle."
