Well, I'm home again. This weekend was the meditation weekend which we were required to do for Peace Psychology (and I was planning to do even if it wasn't required). It was really a wonderful experience.

Granted, it was nice to be able to talk, and more importantly to shower and change out of the clothes that I'd been wearing for almost three straight days, but I'm really going to be sad next semester when Deborah has moved on and the meditation weekend is a thing of the past. There's really no other experience quite like it on Whitman campus.

I got home and decided that I wasn't really feeling the work thing, so I watched Corpse Bride (finally). That is such a good movie. It makes me happy, and was a much better choice than Crash (which I got from Amazon over the weekend). I don't think that I could have handled that kind of hatred in my current state. Forty-eight hours of meditation leaves one a bit exposed. It's such a brilliant movie, though; I may have to watch it later this week (or just wait a bit; I think we're watching it in my race class soon). I also got the Lord of the Rings extended trilogy with Crash; it finally dropped to a reasonable price on Amazon and I couldn't resist. Makes me really happy.

Well, I need to either go do some reading for class tomorrow or go to bed. I'm starting to feel the effects of hitting life full-front, and I could use a night to process things.
