This year I did it - I crossed the 50,000 word line in 20 days at the Night of Writing Dangerously! I got to ring the bell and receive applause from 250 people. I got to wear a crown. I got a free winner's t-shirt. I didn't think I was going to do it. I headed in there with 6,000 words to go. But I did it, before 10 pm.
I'm feeling awfully proud of myself.
Now it's time to head off and write another 25,000 before the end of November! I got this!
