Not so irrelevant maybe?

If your defenition of relevant is anything that influences pop culture and in some convoluted way relates to christianity then Relevant magazine is for you. It pisses me off to hear a kid in a christian bookstore saying "uhhhh well Moby does make some good points about the church." Maybe ill leave it at being pissed at the ignorance of both parties (Moby and that kid). Before I get to the good side of relevant you should be informed that the headline of the magazine said "Why Moby loves christ and not the church." Maybe they define what they call journalism as straight laced non bias write what you hear without any regard to theological fact checking of the author with no spin because it has to be mind numbingly regergetational bull that sounds like it could be Rolling Stones written without the more blatant mocking of christianity. Or maybe they hire a random guy off the street to write with no apparent knowlege that the magazine should be RELEVANT.

Ok to the good part. They wrote an article about Social Security reform. Of course it was a syndicated columnist but who knew. David Ramsey I believe. It was a really good article and if this is signs of things to come from Relevant maybe it wont be that bad. Fire whoever wrote about Moby. That article was my big qualm with them. I didnt read the big article in the new mag but I hope its a lot better. Out for now.
