Hello all-
I've lurked on this community for awhile now, and have been a George/Luna fan ever since discovering "Love and Levity" and "The Prodigal" over at Checkmated almost a year ago....I just wanted to say how glad I am that this community exists and that there are others out there who see the sense of this wonderful ship!!
I am working on a post-DH George/Luna fic tentatively called "A Scamander by Any Other Name" but that title will probably change. It is set approximately seven years after the last chapter of DH but before the epilogue, and focuses primarily on how George finds a creative way to get around the "Rolf Scamander" issue...but it may be awhile before I get it finished. I've written a couple of Ron/Hermione one-shots that are posted at Checkmated under the name Lauryne, but as much as I like to read George/Luna, I've never attempted to *write* them before, and the pairing doesn't flow out of my pen as easily as R/Hr.
Just wanted to say "hi" and let you all know to keep an eye peeled for it sometime in the (hopefully not *too* distant) future....
