Gerry and the Pacemakers.

I woke up from a dead sleep to write this. Ha. Someone needs to write a story where Gerry and the Pacemakers became "The Beatles" and the Beatles just became a mildly-successful group that rode on their coat tails. I'd love to see the Beatles outside of their life as Beatles. Later in life they always thought it was frightening how cult like The Beatles became and how other people knew more about their lives than they did and how they could never escape "Beatle John" or whoever. But it would be a really interesting character study to see them as regular folk, not having that Bigger-Than-Elvis status and instead of being on the inside looking out, they were on the outside looking in.

I really shouldn't get up in the middle of the night to make non-sensical LJ posts, really.
