Sambael
Well, I feel a lot better although still a bit stuffy in the head. I'm very tired today and I'm not sure why. It figures -- the night I get the most sleep is when I'm the most tired. Glad it's the weekend, that's all I'll say. :)
Unfortunately, I really did nothing productive at all today. Techincally I should be updating this on thatbritishboy since it's all personal but, oh well. No one reads there that doesn't read here too and I'm too lazy to log out right now.
I didn't write anything. I thought about what to do with EoD10 but I didn't write anything. I did think of an idea for a fabble though, based in part on some of what mod_alcyone wrote here. I'm just not sure what pairing I'd use if I did write it -- but it'd work well with the fighting prompt currently up. Maybe I will try to write it later . . . I'll feel better writing something even if it's not on EoD or Memories of the Future.
I got a new neopet today.
I got a Kougra, like I said I would get. He's blue right now but as soon as they redo the white kougra art, I am going to paint him white. I got a gruslen petpet too and painted him white (got a gruslen for the avatar, really). But once I paint them both white, then they'll match. I named him Sambael sort of as a tribute to Sam Beckett . . . I plan to name my Draik slightly after Astrid so I felt I should name the kougra after someone else I like too. :)
I found a piece of the Laboratory map last night so I've also decided to start collecting the lab map . . . mostly because I've started collecting secret avatars and one of them you have to get by having your pets species change by using the laboratory ray. I'm not in a rush to get the map though, so I'm going to try to get the pieces for really inexpensive.
I've been spending a lot longer on the Avatar boards that I ever dreamed I would spend there. I've met some very nice people there too, which is surprising. Not everyone on the boards is 13 and uneducated. I even met a 26 year old with roleplaying interests similar to mine. It's always nice to have friends to share your obessions with you. :)
I guess that's it. I'm eager to get Sambael painted! The Neopets Team needs to redraw the white kougra now! I even did a mock-up of what I think the new white kougra will look like and I really like it. :)
I'm so lame. Everyone who thinks I am so cool and mature can be proven wrong now. :) I get neomails all the time from kids who don't believe me when I tell them I'm 23 and then ask why I play neopets. Sigh. It's fun, dammit.
