grey one is Athena.

and of course Basho is the king of the castle....(really, counting his human he has three women at his beck and call....)

everyone here at home thinks I'm crazy with my kitty names. My mom says "Can't you name them something normal like Fluffy?" I get lots of weird looks. I'm ok with that.

Is Basho named after the poet?

by way of another kitty.
my friend revdj had a kitty named basho whom I am pretty sure (but probably wrong) named after the poet.
when I got my kitty, I looked at an old picture of the first basho and he could have been my kitty's twin so I asked to name my kitty after his departed basho.
