Why We Ship George/Alex
I'm amazed at all the activeness of the comm.
Anyway, I figure this would be a good time to post this.
Why Do You Ship George/Alex?
Okay. I mean, I hope you all are here for a reason, and not just another comm to make your flist look bigger, because that's not cool.
Basically, I want to compile a list of why people ship George/Alex. There should be some reasons, no?
No matter how small your reason is, even if it's they're pretty together, post it. If someone else has said it already, say it again. Honestly. I don't care. I'd love to get 49 responses, as we 49 members and 59 watchers! Yay.
Okay. I'm gonna post my reason as an example.
I ship George/Alex because..
.. I like the dynamic they have. (Love/hate, sortofbutnotreallyfriends)
.. Alex actually listens to George (M/C/I seem self-absorbed and never really actually pay attention to what he says)
.. They have nicknames.
.. Greys Anatomy. GA. George Alex. G/A. Coincidence? I think not.
.. Alex is a supposed womanizer. Sometimes womanizers settle down with men in the end. Why not George?
.. George is too cute to be straight. XDDD
.. George would be good for Alex, and vice versa.
.. They have UST! (Unrevolved Sexual Tension)
.. They can scream at each other, but yet somehow it's okay after.
.. George and Alex just work well together.
.. Alex thought George was gay. George said no, I'm not!! (or that was the point, at least) and Alex shrugged and moved on with his life.
.. It gives Alex some life. (A little human, I'm assuming?)
.. They're polar opposites
.. George/Alex shouldn't work, so therefore, we should make it work (while still keeping it in character. XD)
.. They're cute together
.. It makes sense for them to get together out of all the guys on the show
.. There's tension and drama and it would be interesting to play out
.. They could recognize things in each other that most people wouldn't (Alex isn't an ass, George isn't a wallflower)
.. Alex yelling in the locker room? There seemed to be more to it, you know?
.. Alex also knows that he'll be forgiven, because they are sortofbutnotreallyfriendsexceptmaybetheyarecloserthanyouthink. XD
.. They've been left brokenhearted by girls, stepped on. They could commiserate about it and maybe eventually it would lead to..?
.. Alex is a wrestler. What more do you need?
.. It could be rather plausible that they sort of start out as drunken friends with benefits. Not that it would ever be written into the show, but with what we know of their characters..
