Greetings from Everett, Washington!
Oh my goodness, we started our tour! Opening night was in Salt Lake City, JPL's hometown. Last night was Portland, Oregon, with one of the best crowds of any performance I've done in my life. Tonight is Everett, Washington.
I loved the competition, but this is even more fun. No judges. I love you Paula, Randy, and Simon, but it was so great to just perform and not worry if every night will be my last. I especially love our group numbers and duets. Not always all ten of us at once. Jenn and I did a duet, and then I sang while JPL played acoustic guitar. Jenn, Toya, and Tasia did Shake It Like a Polaroid Picture and oh yeah, girlfriends be shakin what their mammas gave em!
Tamyra was with us, and sang 3 songs. I've always loved her voice. Her CD is so beautiful.
Already this is the best summer of my life.
