July 5 - WFTV.com - '"Body Of Christ' Snatched From Church, Held Hostage By UCF Student"
University of Central Florida student Webster Cook takes Eucharist without eating it, is restrained by church official.  Takes the wafer home.

July 7 - "'Body Of Christ" Returned To Church After Student Receives Email Threats"
A week later, armed UCF police now guard Sunday Mass.  Cook returns the host following threats, including one to break into his dorm room.

The Catholic League - "Florida Student Abuses Eucharist"
Bill Donohue, head of the Catholic League, claims that "taking the body of Christ hostage" is "beyond hate speech".

July 8 - Pharyngula blog - "It's A Frackin’ Cracker!"
Atheist PZ Myers,of scienceblogs.com criticizes the catholic responses, and puts out a request for readers to send him consecrated wafers.

July 10 - Pharyngula blog - "Now I've got Bill Donohue's attention"
Myers links to the Catholic League Press release, "Minnesota Prof Pledges To Desecrate Eucharist", in which Donohue states his intention to contact the University president, and states, "It is hard to think of anything more vile than to intentionally desecrate the Body of Christ. "

July 11 - "I get email - special cracker edition!"
Myers posts some of the opposition email he has received.

July 12 - Peterwall.net blog - : "Try to Think More Clearly".
