that BB&N dance

so last night was a dance at BB&N. Patience had signed me up, so I figured what the heck I might as well go. She put me in a pink shirt and pushed me out the door. I was soo nervous, like I always am. We were sitting in the foyer in the classroom building waiting to go. The 2 people you would least expect to be driving us to a dance drove us: the libraryian Ms gray, and the latin teacher Ms bloomberg. haha.

Well we got there and it was really cold (there was snow on the ground), but we got inside and it was humid and packed with lots of tall black guys. Yea and the music was really loud too, louder than it needed to be. And it wasn't really even music, it was more like interrupted beats from the DJ who I couldn't see because their tiny, low-celinged caferteria was too packed with people, body to body.

Patience and I went in and out of the dance room, each time we went back in, the humidity engulfed us and pulled us in. And the last time we ended up going in the room, the floor was really slippery, and I yelled to Patience that sweat had accumulated on the floor. It was soo gross. Then she yelled back to me, sort of scaired, saying that sweat had dripped on her head. I looked up, and there was a snake of sweat slithering down the slanted celing. GRossss... eww. We pushed our way out and didn't go back in after that. Soon we herd that the dance was canceled. Apperently there were too many people, and people were fighting and doing "bad" things. I was happy to leave and hour and a half early; Who would want to stay at a dance that was packed body to body with sweat dripping from the celing?
