This was great! I tried the link for "Permanent Scars", to refresh my memory, but kept getting a 404 error :-( Of course it didn't seem to hinder my understanding of this fic so I guess it doesn't really matter...

Aw, shoot. It should work now! It really wasn't totally necessary, but it details how/why Jane and Maura met because Maura dealt with the wounds on Jane's palms. :D

Heee, yes. The possibility for angry sex during these two episodes is veeery high. ;-D

~laughs~ I couldn't resist! And the idea about "half-price shoes" popped into my head as soon as Maura mentioned they'd have to cut off her leg. I'm shocked they didn't go there! ;D

Hells yeah, it's a damned good fic all by itself, a nifty follow-up to PS, and it's the best explanation for their weird "not-really-mad-at-you" sniping in episode 2.

Right? I don't know if you watch The Good Wife, but they had an episode where Will and Alicia were suddenly sniping and jibing at each other at work. It turned out it was because they were secretly having sex. So I was waiting for R&I to go the same way ;-D

You're right, they Goodwifed it! I'm surprised at how much I enjoy The Goodwife, when it was advertised I thought the premise was downright cringe-worthy but it's been pretty good.

My progression was "What a dumb idea for a TV show" to "Well, some of my friends seem to like it, so I guess it can't be terrible" to "Aw, man, my best friend is watching it? I guess I'll give it a try if she likes it" to finally "omg GW is awesome!!!" ;-D
