Thankya! And now that I took care of the hotness, the next chapter has been added to the post! That takes care of the violence. There be some blood in that part! ;-D

This world....I love the pair of them exploring. And then the tension - I knew they were tough, but the odds were awkward. And I love that Peri can and does take care of two of them!

I wanted to show that Peri can be scared, but then take care of herself. Letting her choose to fight two while Dice took care of the leader showed her true character. Plus this takes care of one image I had in my head from the beginning: the building covered in rubble, and Dice helping Peri through the window of a destroyed school.

I also had fun making the school seem ominous. Basketball courts/gymnasiums, if you don't know what they are, can be very imposing. :D
